Appointments

The day's schedule: see how many patients are booked today, waiting, or overdue, and move them through triage and consultation from here.

Available to: Owner, Doctor, Nurse, and Assistant

Go to module
Create an appointment
  1. 1In Appointments, click “New appointment.”
  2. 2Search for the patient in the Patient field, or click “New” to create one instantly with first name, last name, phone, date of birth, and gender.
  3. 3Fill in the Reason for visit and choose the Doctor.
  4. 4Pick the Date on the calendar (past dates aren't allowed) and then an available slot from the time grid.
  5. 5Click “Save appointment.” The appointment is created with status “Scheduled.”
Care for a walk-in patient (direct care)
  1. 1Click “Direct care.”
  2. 2Search for the patient by name, phone, or ID, or use “Quick patient” to register one instantly.
  3. 3Click “Attend now” on the patient: the appointment is created and the consultation opens right away, skipping triage and the waiting room.
Move an appointment through the day
  1. 1When the patient arrives, click “Arrival” to move the appointment to “Confirmed.”
  2. 2With the appointment “Confirmed,” click “Pre-clinic” to send it to Triage.
  3. 3Once the patient is “In waiting room,” click “Consultation” to start the medical visit.
  4. 4From the clock menu you can “Change time” (reschedule) or “Cancel appointment.”

Statuses

Scheduled — booked, the patient hasn't arrived yet.

Confirmed — the patient has arrived at the clinic.

Waiting room — triage is done and the patient is waiting for the doctor.

Completed / Cancelled — the visit is over or was cancelled.

Tips

Overdue appointments (past their time and not finished) show up in a separate block with “Cancel” or “Reschedule” buttons.

The time grid follows the clinic hours configured in Settings (fixed hours or 24/7).
